6. Specific Goals: 
  • Develop internationally acknowledged Guidelines for LC Sustainability Assessment of Products meaning the extension of the social and environmental frameworks to a triple bottom line tool
7. Activities planned:
  • Identify existing initiatives, key stakeholders and experts working on LC sustainability Assessment of Products
  • Develop a road map toward the elaboration of Guidelines for LC Sustainability Assessment of Products
  • Elaborate a draft framework
  • Consult it first with ILCB, SETAC LCA Steering Committee and UNEP
  • Refined version reviewed by international experts
  • Case study is implemented to validate the process
  • Stakeholder consultation is organized by UNEP
  • Final review by the TRC and recommended to ILCB
  • Launch of the guidelines
  • Dissemination

  • Project group set up
  • Outline drafted and content developed up to 60%

9. Progress done so far: 30%

10. Involvement of potential experts: Once the brochure has been drafted, reviewers are welcomed
