1. Project Title: Capacity Building of the Chinese Roundtable on Sustainable Consumption and Production

3. Number of participants: 50 participants from government and companies from China

6. Specific goals of the project
  • Increase Awareness and train Chinese governmental and business representatives life-cycle based decision making processes and to follow up on implemented activities (e.g. LCM, 
  • Related to green procurement and ecolabelling)
  • Identify and set-up a business cluster willing to implement life cycle based approaches
  •  Identify successful stories and disseminate them

7. Outputs until now:
  • Web launched of the 3rd China SCP Roundtable to be held in Beijing on 14 Nov 2009
  • Program and background documents drafted
  • List of participants cleared up to 90%
  • Sustainable Roundtable organized with 40 participants from companies (ICT sector, building and construction and metals) and the Government
  • Reports available in the internet
