Number of participants: 2 developers and around 100 database developers entering their information 4. Scope of the project: Global 5. Period: From May 2007 and on 6. Specific Goals: - Continuous data service on database level
- Establishing an information service down to data set level
7. Outputs until now: - May 2007: Launch of the first version of the database registry
- Global survey launched on users' and database providers' needs (110 responses received) with concluding results on the need of a database registry as a search tool online to present all databases available ranked by data quality criteria (60% of positive answers from users and database providers).
- Second survey done on technicalities which presents suggestions and ideas from stakeholders on the final proposal of the database registry
- New version of the database registry implemented on a web server (see below)
