Contact group meeting on TPMP implementation and assessment of awareness raising activities, Chisinau, Moldova, 2- 4 December 2008

As part of the work programme 2008 of the Regional Ozone Network for Europe & Central Asia (ECA network), the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Moldova and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) convened a contact group meeting on TPMP implementation and assessment of awareness raising activities on 2-4 December 2008 in Chisinau, Moldova. The working language was Russian without interpretation.

The objectives of the meeting included:

- Review progress of TPMP implementation in the participating countries
- Analyse problems and delays encountered in TPMP implementation
- Share views on TPMP components related to metered-dose inhalers (MDIs)
- Share awareness raising initiatives and assess their efficiency and effectiveness
- Agree on TPMP implementations schedule and action plans
- Share positive lessons learned and formulate recommendations
- Suggest and implement climate-friendly initiatives
